Hey guys,
I have since like 2 months a 7970 Matrix Ghz Edition. I saw right now, that this edition should be 1050 / 1650, but mine runs with 1050/1500.
I´ve boguht 100% the Ghz Edition, so why do I have the standard clocks ?
Is there a big difference ? I mean, its only the Vram.

Don't know why it is, but you probaply won't run into any bandwith problems as long as you run only one display. But you can easiely overclock it yourselve. Just donwload msi afterburner or go into catalyst control center -> performance -> overdrive, activate overdrive and just drag the memory slider to 1650. There is no voodoo magic to overclocking graphicscards

And if you're on int, you might be able to push the core higher too.
Here is a tutorial http://www.overclock.net/u/334264/civerol

Thanks.
My Matrix is OC´ed and runs with 1225/1725. I only thought that they send me a "normal" version of the 7970 and not the Ghz Edition which i´ve bought. GpuZ said 1050/1500 stock and their page said 1050/1650. I thought there would be a difference, but I think that is it only a on stock Ghz Edition ^^

By the way - problem solved
