overall system is great, with great cooling.

Using msi AF 2.3.1

the bars go up to core 1200Mhz and mem 1650Mhz (Core voltage stock MSI wont let me OC that part) ive tried changing the setting it MSI i know how to do it still core wont unlock, tried changing the line in config still wont change.

ive went up to 1080 and 1395 and it works but games will freeze, so not even stable.

bf3 will freeze Crysis 3 will freeze and so on.

Plz help i got this cards with idea to OC a little i see folks OC way higher that this with stock Voltage.

You can overclock a littlebit I guess and mabye go in catalyst and put power control to +20 to make it more stable. I'm preety sure there are ways to do it much much more advanced than what I told you now. For example flashing vga bios.. dangerous but big profit. And its also not available to every gpu. Besides the two 7970 are very very powerful why overclock? Also they're already overclocked from stock

i have 2 gigabyte 7970 cards as well. can't get anything over stock clocks in afterburner without the desktop flickering to hell at idle clock speeds, haven't tried using CCC to overclock just yet. I did flash the Ghz edition bios to my cards earlier by following this guide: http://www.overclock.net/t/640063/unofficial-how-to-flash-ati-cards ---its really, really simple. GHz bios flashed onto my cards just fine, tried using afterburner again after flashing the GHz bios, same results with the flickering on the desktop on the 13.2 beta 7 drivers.

What happens if you use CCC to overclock (you can always run AB with the /XCL command to extend the clcok sliders) and ONLY overclock the core?
You should not get any flickering if you don't touch the memory.

i went up to 1090 core and 1395 mem, stable now, but i re-installed win 7 on my ssd, i had some driver issues, maybe u can do the same if u can fresh clean install idk tho,
but ya try just OC the core little by little, 5 max at the time, thats what i did if i went to high all the way games crash, after a while the cards got use to it i guess idk lol, but it works
