I don't have the answer as I have a mobile without those kind of options.

I can tell you the people who post here say on Intel's clocks are more important.

I know at some point it should matter but go for speed.

Speed really, as long as you do not go higher then 5-5-5-15 timings, you are fine

My ram runs at 5-4-4-15-26 2T winch is good for 4 GB's, I use OCZ SLi DDR2 800 Ram

Try both and run everest mem bench at both settings, I run 875Mhz 4-4-4-12 which is slightly faster than 5-5-5-15 1066Mhz for ME, don't quote me on this but Nvidia chipsets prefer tighter timings whereas intel chipsets prefer higher Mhzs, i've seen some conflicting results lately though, so it's best if you try it out for yourself.

Best advice you'll get.

Try both and bench, at least you will see the difference yourself

That happens sometimes, but usually higher clocks trump tighter timings with Intel processors.

I was running 800 MHz 4-4-4-12-2T unlinked, and now I'm at 956 MHz 5-4-4-15-2T 1:1 and get much better benchmark results. It doesn't really feel much faster, however I did gain 4fps in the Crysis Benchmark tool (default settings).
