That is a workstation card. Muy muy muy large amounts of openGL capabilities.

The $850 pricetag is mild compared to the $4000 for a good Quadro or good FireGL workstation cards.

Contrary to popular belief, workstation cards DO game well, but not as well as ATI's and nVidia's top GAMING cards.

that's right. Workstation cards can do game well. But it lacks speed. Those cards come with good OpenGL support and huge amount of memory. But FPS is not as good as say 6800 or x800. And they may not have VIVO support

512mb video-cards are probably only a few months away from being released to the public...

I'm not gonna spend $500 for a 256mb card now (regardless of make/model) when these badboys are on the way... Might as well spend a little more and get somethin better...
