a bunch of guys with 7600 helped each other oc them.I was wondering if i could start one for the 8600 hope its not too early

lets start by finding out who's 8600 is fastest mine is 880max core 975 max mem

mines stable at 700/850 without any voltmods because my cooling is crap.

Not sure i can see the point at the moment, it runs bf2 and css perfectly maxed at 1440x900 so i dont really need many more mhz, im just gona stick with it until the midrange 9 series come out, ie 9600gt/s

Yeh same here, i can never part with over 120 pounds for a video card when the next gen is only 12 months away with better performance/price.

I have a 8600M GT in my laptop and I want to overclock it. But I really don't want it to overheat so much or become too unstable. What do you guys think I should bump it up to?

dont overclock anything to do with laptops imo. They have got limited cooling and parts cant be easily replaced.

Yeah it would get hot, but I have a nice cooling pad for it. Maybe I'll try it if I ever need a little extra performance from it.
