So a: 8800GTS (G92) 512MB = 9800GTS+ = GTS 250

More or less for folding?

yep, they're all just rebrandings, same core, different clocks, covers, and colors
all basically get between 5.5-6.5k ppd

i got the 8800gts 320mb g80 core... it only folds at 3298.ppd so the g92 should be atleast 5k

you should be able to get some more out of it, crank the clocks
my G80 8800GTX 768 gets about 4.5-5kppd... crank the shaders up

I have one of those folding also, that is about what I get. I tried to OC the shaders, maybe got a one strap bump I think, but had some eue's so I set it back to stock. I might take it apart and apply some fresh thermal, it folds at 65c.

my core 650. mem 1000 and shaders are at 1450, i had shaders up to 1600 no diff, and mem up to 1200, yet agin no diff. the only thing i noticed is that my gpu went from running at 52*c to 55*c in cod4 with every setting maxed out, and useing the nvidia control pannel to rase aa and pre rendering set to 5 frames i get 150fps. i did notice though if i rase the pci-e from 100 to 110 it gets me a little more but not worth it.
Yup, they are all the same card, just different names.

I've got my g80 8800gts 640mb from 575\\1188\\850 to 620\\1728\\1000 and currently get about 4.5-4.8k PPD on the 1680 pointers. Actually folds better then my 9800gt and 8800gt which are at the 1782 shader strap with 112sp
