It is not so easy. You need very steady hands and a very fine soldering iron and a magnifying glass (experience is needed)

I still have more head room on the Vcore volts just under 1.4V stock 1.33V
With the Mod link above it limits the mem to just under 2.0V but the Vcore can go all the way to 1.47V but after about 700mhz on the core the performance does not scale up that well. There seems to be a wall to stop GTS clocking past the GTX
But since you are not concerned about your card I say go for broke
