955 and 1.526 volts safe?

I just got my water cooling loop all set up and I can get 4.0 stable at 1.526 volts. It vdrops to 1.512 at full load and my max temps are 53C right now with no fans on my rad. I do have the big fan on my antac 1200 blowing on it though so there is moving air but plan on getting more fans on it tomorrow. Anyways is that max of 1.526 volts safe for 24/7 with my temps under 55C.

nice chip you got there, long as temps are under 55 degrees, you're good up to 1.55 v
AMD quotes a lower voltage, I dont remember exactly what it is, but load at 53 degrees is very good, especially for such a high OC. Ive seen lots of people say stay not to exceed 1.55. You should be fine
I'm more worried about my north bridge and the voltage regulators on the motherboard getting to hot. the heat sink on my msi 790fx gd70 is so hot I cant hold my hand on it. Any one got a program that will show me the temp I have not found one that works with this board.
yeah but you gotta pay for it... But the 20 bucks or so was sooo worth it. Very good utility, hands down the best!

your MSI should of included some utilities on the driver disc that came with the mobo. See if that has anything

LAWL it's name speaks for itself, keep your Phenom II 955 under 1.55V without exceeding 55C.

Your motherboard sounds like it's running wayyy hotter than it should be. What heatsink is it, northbridge, southbridge, or one in the middle?

My northbridge and motherboard itself run below like 35C. The motherboard hasn't exceeded 38C while stressing/gaming.

It actually ran at like 30C before I swapped my CPU cooler.

The heatsinks are barely warm or cool to the touch.

Agreed, if your heatsink is too hot to touch, you need to lower the voltages. Heatsinks should be hot enough to at least touch
Well that's the thing I got my cpu at 1.526 volts and the north bridge at 1.3 volts. I know that voltage is not really that high for the north bridge so I'm not really sure where all the heat is coming from.
North bridges get hot man. That's the way it is. Either stick a fan on it or live with it. As long as you don't see any errors or malfunctions in your system, you're fine.

My northbridge gets a bit hot, but still the heatsink should never be. Its made out of either copper or aluminum, should dissipate heat really well
