According to ASUS's SmartDoctor my card is idling around 80c. Ive already tried EVGA Precision, RivaTuner, ATITool, HWMonitor and none of the let me see the temperature of my card. +REP to helpful posts.

Also my case has only decent airflow, could this be the problem?

Have you tried GPU-Z? It tells me the temperature of my card.

Also, try touching the heatsink while the card is on, it shouldn't be too not to the touch. If it is, you may have a problem, if not, don't worry about.

Well, I was pretty stupid....

I opened my case to put my finger onto the card..I burnt my finger, lol. I guess it was really idling 80c, becasue when I took out my flashlight I found out my case fan wire was blocking the 9600GSO's fan. So it was overheating because the fan wasn't spining.
, anways thanks for your help. +REP.
