The following results are using EVGA 9600GT in SLI (2 way)
The system it was tested on was tuned to what a "reasonably good overclocker" can do. I took my CPU down from 4.4Ghz to show that "oh its his CPU" is infact false when looking at these little cards. With the CPU at a good 4.2 Ghz, its about the average overclock that I see on the new 45nm Dual cores (E8400-E8600) so I will set that as the OC.
Two 9600GT's cost about $160. Here are some results.

this just shows that the only midrange card worth sli-ing is the 9600gt. and no one seems to thinkt hat the 9600gt sli isnt worth it.
