Ok, well my old computer which is now my friend's comp the system wont post. Everything boots up, but it just says no signal on the monitor. No beeps, no anything. When I take out the graphics card it does the same thing, a.k.a. nothing, no beeps no anything. It registers when the RAM is taken out though. Gah, help this is really frustrating, and I dont wanna let my friend down.

You happen to have a spare PCI card laying around?

Odd that it wont even beep. Usually it will have a post code if the graphics card is bad/missing.

Well might be a little off on this one, but I had a PS that went bad and wouldn't pull enough juice. Mobo beeped at me when I took the ram but that was about it. PS was the last thing I checked and didn't check that until after I put the board in a different box and everything came back up. Felt kind of stupid after that one. Just a thought though. What other cards are in there? Worked on one machine that had a modem in it, would turn on or anything until I removed that, came up right after that. I'd unplug everything but the monitor and PS and see what you get (that includes HD's, floppy, and CD-Roms off motherboard). If it post, then work from there.
