Hi all, new here and hopefully in the right section to ask.

I can get my Phenom II 965be to 4.0Ghz fine, and have been using it at that now for a couple of months with it going no higher than 44c



But as soon as I go to 4.2Ghz I start to get BSOD's when under load. Where can I go from here?

if i was u i would just keep it at 4ghz thats heaps for an overclock

Max voltage 1.55v and max core temp are 62c. I say keep going. Bump the voltage up and oc higher.

Have you tried 4.1Ghz?

Try a little more vcore, and/or try 4.1Ghz first. Also, its important to bear in mind the higher your overclocked the lower your thermal threshold for stability is. This is why they need sub zero temps for high overclocks.
