hi i need help choosing a fan for my vid card.
these are my choices:
Arctic Cooling VGA Cooler, Model "ATI silencer 1" -RETAIL
Specifications:
Compatibility: ATI 9500 - 9700 (SE, Pro, XT), ATI 9800 (SE, Pro)
Fan Casing: Hair Dryer (23 fins)
Heatsink Plate: t(Cu)=2.5mm
Rated Fan Speeds: 2000 RPM
Memory Cooler: No
Bearing: Ceramic Bearing
OR:
Arctic Cooling VGA Cooler, Model "ATI silencer 3" -RETAIL
Specifications:
Compatibility: ATI 9800XT
Fan Casing: Normal (35 fins)
Heatsink Plate: t(Cu)=2.5mm, 1.3mm
Rated Fan Speeds: 2000 RPM
Memory Cooler: Yes
Bearing: Ceramic Bearing

the reason i am asking this, is in another forum i can see that u can use the 3 model instead of the 1 model.....i just wanna know which one i should buy. i only have a 40 buck range, if there is a better cooling device for around that price plz let me know.

oops i posted this in the wrong place...i'm sry...how do i delete both posts......i found my answer....i'll use the 3 model.....sry for the post

i'm not gonna go with the 3 model cuz i read some more and from what i understand there is a prob with the 3 model and 128mb cards, so i was going to get the 1 model but newegg is out of them as of 2-17-05, so i went ahead and got a Arctic Cooling VGA Silencer, Model "AVC-1000 REV.3" -RETAIL.
