hmmmmmmmmm i just got 4.50ghz after a few hours of Linx but my temps are very odd core 6 is showing 80c and the rest of the cores are in the 60s
what could this mean

as for the cpu temp itsself its 56c under full load

Have you tried other software to factor out a false reading from the program you're using?

Could just be a bad sensor if anything.

ya it could be it does not occur at 4.40 tho hmmmmmmmmmm ill try a differnt sofware and see

Theres probably an air pocket in between you CPU and heatsink.

ill also try a reseat if the software does the same thing and see if keeps occuring ill report back it just started as soon as i went from 4.40 to 4.50 hmmmmmmm

Make sure that you're using RealTemp. It's the most accurate temperature sensor I've found for i7's.

hmmmmmmmm all cores seem to be loading around the same for now ill report back if it does the same thing

core1 72c core2 71c core3 64c core4 68c core5 72c core6 72c load temps as of right now testing....
