So far i have only used bare tabletop or cloth mousepads like the SS QCk pad. I saw that 9hd on amazon and a couple people said they really liked it. I was wondering how a wierd plasticy mousepad would run...and it aint bad at all. Your mouse glides with less effort than a cloth pad but is very consistent and controllable. They also include this black cloth wipe thats really staticy and picks up any dust or junk off this pad.

I know its a bit expensive for a mousepad but id recommend trying it out.

the 9HD was my first pad purchase, and probably best.
Also, I didnt like how my DA glides on the 9HD its too slippery for me..I want the crosshair/cursor move to when I land it, if you understand what I mean.

Glides wise - I really like the moderate friction of the logitech and steelseries mice.

But still, I like more the cloth feeling, its down to presonal preferences.

I'm probably now about trying the Talent since there is alot of GREAT opinion and reviews of it.

Destructor mousepad are really better for DA, less friction and better glide.

Yes, the Xai was slippery a little too but less than DeathAdder, beacause the Deathadder glides are also 100% slippy teflon.

the Xai's glides have more friction than the Deathadder's.

I see steelseries glide-feets in general somewhere in the between..

Weird you sure about that? I have both DA and Xai now on the HD9. And Xai definity glide better and it is lighter than DA for sure.
