A bit confused

I am fairly new to sound cards, and was just looking at this picture and wondered where do you plug in your headset and microphone jacks?

You either plug it into the green and blue holes, or attach your case audio cables to the soundcard, and plug in the headset to the front of the case.

Front channel is always green. On this card, the white jack is microphone.
