Can somebody please recommend a great book for A+ certification? I'm wanting to do this in the very near future so any help would be great. Please only recommend the book if you have used it, and have been certified. Thank you in advance.
The CompTIA book is good, if not outdated. They wrote the exam, so they know what needs to be in the book. Honestly though, hands on experience and reading these forums will probably be a better study guide.Originally Posted by tpavur;13007610

I had this book:
Amazon.com: CompTIA A+ Certification All-in-One Exam Guide, Seventh Edition (Exams 220-701 & 220-702) (9780071701334): Michael Meyers: Books
It is a good book, but I found that I knew a lot of the material already and ended up using http://www.freeaplus.com/ more than I used the book. The tests are pretty easy, good luck!
N+ was not to hard.Originally Posted by tpavur;13007781
anyone out there N+ certified? how much study time did it take to get you ready?
MCSA in 2003 , CCNA, A+, and MC-DST. I want to get MCITP: Server Administrator but need to find the time to study.Originally Posted by tpavur;13007682
