A few questions...

Hey guys,
My first post here...
I am building a new rig and will water cool it.
I read a lot of information about the water cooling, watched a lot of youtube videos, etc... I am getting mixed info on the res, pump options out there, do you think a combo is better or a separate pump-res? I am thinking of getting the Black Ice GTX 360 Radiator, what do you think? I am also split between the Dominator and the Vengeance ram by Corsair? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

My parts so far...

CM HAF X Case
ASUS MAXIMUS IV EXTREME-Z
Intel Core i7 2600K
eVGA GeForce GTX 580 FTW Hydro Copper 2
CM Silent Pro Gold 1200W PSU
EK-Supreme HF EN Nickel Universal CPU Water Block
1 x Patriot Wildfire 120GB SSD SATA3
2 x Western Digital WD2002FAEX 2TB SATA3

Thanks!

I have a pump/res combo they are great in the way that they are nice and compact, you can even get them for drive bays, however they are quite ugly, something like an EK or FrozenQ cylinder with say a koolance pump top is much nicer looking. It all depends on what you are going for. - Im refering to a Laing D5 as the pump.

Depends on the fans you are useing and the target RPM ie. how loud or quiet do you want it... If you want a quiet rig then go for Low RMP fans and get a RAD with a low fin count such as a RX360. On the other hand if you dont care you can blast the Black ice with 1200+ RPM fans and get a better result.

Thats overkill mate. An 850 Watt will be ok for sli. But if you are SLIing then you will need more rad.

If I go with a separate... I really like the FrozenQ Liquid Fusion Res, but have not stopped on a pump.

For the combos I like FrozenQ Liquid Fusion Dual Bay Reservoir w/ Swiftech MCP655 Series Pump ... or XSPC Dual 5.25" Bay Reservoir - w/ Alphacool VPP655 Variable Speed Pump

I am thinking of PUSH/PULL with 6 Gentle Typhoon 120mm and the Black Ice GTX 360

I figured that out after I bought it, but oh well... later on I will be getting another GTX 580 for SLI... so I will use some more power

Do you think that the PUSH/PULL with 6 Gentle Typhoon 120mm and the Black Ice GTX 360 will be noisy? If yes, what fans would you recommend to use with the RX360 for a quiet rig? Should I get a fan speed controller for one of the bays?
I think I am done choosing parts for the water cooling, will start only with PULL, will see what temps I get and may do a PUSH/PULL after... Please let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions.

XSPC RX360 Triple 120mm Radiator Rev 2
3 x Gelid Solutions Wing 12 PL 120mm x 25mm UV Reactive PWM Gamer Fans
3 x 120mm Black Rubber Fan Silencers
Innovatek Eheim HPPS Plus 12V Water Pump
FrozenQ PC Mods 250mm Liquid Fusion V Series "2nd Generation" Reservoir
PrimoChill PrimoFlex PRO LRT Tubing 1/2" ID 3/4" OD with 1/8" Wall
Do you guys think this is a good set up for the water cooling?
I do I dont like the fans but thats you
