A passive cooler for i5 750

Im looking for a good passive cooler for 1156 socket.

Right now the options are these:

CNPS10X-FLEX - 42€
Thermolab Baram - 49€
Prolimatech - 64,90€ (maybe, just maybe)

Id choose Thermolab myself for sure but does it fit 1156 socket or do I have to buy a bracket for it or something? And the processor is going to be i5 750 and no OC (well.. maybe a bit oc
).

And the main question here is the Thermolab, does it fit?

For passive cooling I'd probably go with the Thermalright IFX-14. Due to its massive size, it handles being passively cooled pretty well.
If you can fit a Xigmatek Achilles in your case right now, I don't see why the Baram wouldn't fit.

However, if you want silence, you would be better off using a low speed fan like this

instead of going truly passive.

If you want to go truly passive, look at something with a bigger surface area, like the Scythe Orochi, Thermalright IFX-14, or the Coolermaster Hyper Z600.
If you can find a Thermalright HR-01 that would be great for passive cooling due to the larger space between fins.

I agree with this. Even with a tiny amount of air moving, the cooling gained is much better. 33CFM and ~9dba. I don't think you will hear it.

Now the point wasnt the size it was the bracket. Can I put it on 1156?

Its quite too large, but otherwise would be a great option.

This is one option, and I dont think that such a quiet fan could be heard over a PSU which is in this case Corsair 550VXEU. At least my Corsair is much noisier than I would've expected when I bought it. Though my Achilles is mounted horizontally (the fan blows hot air straight to PSU
)

And this cooler isnt coming for me but for my father(a Silverstone PS02B is the case actually but that is really irrelevant here and now). And sure, I could mount up one quiet cooler. But the main question still remains unanswered. Can I use Thermolab Baram with 1156? I think there's no special bracket for it but as you can see I have AMD cpu, and the last time I had an Intel was about 10 years ago. So I dont know how the sockets differ from each other. So is can 1366 coolers fit 1156, or can 775 coolers fit 1156?

Im sorry if my question was hard to get right, hope its clear now.
