I am somewhat on a couple days semester break and want to pass the time. I've played for a week or so Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition and pretty much ruined the fun for me, as always with D&D games, by power-leveling with an experience cap remover. I have also played Bloons TD 5 on Ninjakiwi for quite a while and some stuff on Armored Games. So I need something new now.
I have no favorite genre, I just like to level up characters, troops or whatever. The whole experience reward, level gaining and character development concept in games fascinates me. That's why I like RPGs and games, e.g. strategy-games, Tower Defense games etc., where you can level up stuff and pick different abilities, skills and so on. I also played (single player) Warcraft III and Starcraft I, the Age of Empires series, also all the (3D) GTAs, GTA III and later. I was a bit disappointed that GTA IV has not the weapon skills to train, like San Andreas. I have the latest Hitman (Absolution) installed but somehow, after playing through the previous installments, I can't quite get into it. I find it somewhat boring. Also you can't level up stuff in Hitman as far as I know. Also I don't care for online, multiplayer gaming.
So I don't have a specific genre I just like the mentioned characteristics in games.
Thanks.
