Hey guys.

If i buy a 3440x1440 monitor with G-Synch and play games in 1920x1080p, would i still have the benefits of G-Synch and the same level of performance as if i would us a 1080p monitor?

Reason for me asking:

I want that fancy monitor but may not be able to run every game at 3440x1440p with reasonable FPS till i upgrade to SLI or pascal. As far as i know a 1920x1080p window on a 34" 3440x1440p would be 24"-ish, which is what i have in the moment and not bad at all.

Just curious...but did you google this at all?

New G-SYNC Features

Earlier today we launched the 353.06 GeForce Game Ready Drivers. In addition to the latest performance optimizations and support for the new GeForce GTX 980 Ti, the new Game Ready drivers introduce Windowed Mode for G-SYNC, enabling you to enjoy super smooth gaming whilst playing in a window or borderless window.
