I just got my shiny new parts in the mail and ran into a series of problems, I have solved all of them and now I have another one.

When i am trying to format my hard drive for Windows MCE, It goes to 100% then says "Disk error, disk may be corrupted" Its not DOA because its lights go on(at least I dont think its DOA) Any help would be famed as i see fit.

Do you have another rig you can test that drive on? Download and run WD's diagnostics. It sounds like a bad drive

Yeah, I have another computer, but its my dads dell, so i doubt he would approve.

Edit: I dont think its dead, because it recognizes that it is a 160 GB drive. And it has the exact MB's

Edit 2:Its 50% through my second format attempt. I'll post my results. If it doesn't work, ill try Fedora.
