a speedy (IDE?) drive

Hello everyone,

Any reccommendations for a quick IDE HD from 160-200GB? I've read around in this forum for a while and it seems like some people prefer SATA but I'm kind of turned off to it by the things I've heard about them being more prone to errors or malfunction... Is there anywhere I can find a speed comparison on some major drives? The HD will be mostly for gaming, and some music creating too.

the fastest IDE drives would be the ATA 133 but it also depends on the fastest your motherboard can go up to cuz if you buy a 133 drive and you mob can only go up to 100 then you can only use up to 100 speeds try to get 7200 rpm one
I'll be using the DFI Lanparty UT nf3 board, which supports 133
Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 10 200GB 6B200PO ATA-133 8MB
Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 160GB 6Y160PO ATA-133 8MB
Hitachi Deskstar 7K250 160GB ATA-100 8MB Cache

I'd say they are prett good ones.
And I agree with XMS.... the first two are exactly the ones I have in my computer.

If your BIOS allows it, enable 32-bit disk access too.
