so ive been looking for a laptop wireless card (prefer g) with a wireless antenna connection, because ive been wanting to toy with long range wireless and i cant seem to find a card anywhere.

Ive never seen a Wireless card (for Laptops) that have a Physical Antenna on them. Your best bet for long range would be a wireless N, or N1 if Im not mistaken.

what exactly are you trying to accomplish? bigger poles doesn't necessarily increase range.

im just wanting to experiment with wifi antennas and out door ranges, not really trying to accomplish anything imparticular here.

im wanting to really play with cantennas but that dish also looks interesting

with the RP-SMA male connection

just make sure you learn how the connection terminals work so you order the right stuff

for instance, with the RP (reverse polarity) plugs, the threaded, convex connector is the "female" one, and the and the concave connection is the male... with RP it flips and that confused me for like a week...
