What is the safe temp for PWM ?
I have ABIT AN8 ULTRA (nforce 4 ultra) with X2 [email protected] 1.50Vcore...
-CPU goes 46-47C maximum (2x SP2004 instances) cooled by Big Typhoon
-PWM reaches 65-66C after 30min of 2xSP2004...
is 66C for PWM safe? what is the max safe temp for it?

PWMs are the power regulation MOSFETs. They are near the CPU. Sometimes they have heatsinks, sometimes not.

I'm not sure what a safe temp is for them though.

yeah... i've hear they can manage ~90C
anyway somebody knows EXACTLY where it's located on an ABIT AN8 ULTRA motherboard?

Here they are.

If you can rig a small fan to blow on the area, it'll drop the temps pretty well. At first I had the stock cooler on mine, but when I put in my xp-90, the overhang provided airflow to the area and temps dropped a lot.
