Hey,

Sorry guys, I was out of town, thank you for all your responses. Yeah I get that 4c/4t is kinda "obsolete" but many many new games are 4c/4t optimized.. so it will last for another year or two I guess before I upgrade to i7-6700k or 7700k... got a great chip here, shame to sell it and upgrade if games are gonna run just fine.. I was little skeptical about near 100% CPU usage as I said.. but I found this where it showed me that it's actually like that for everyone have 4c/4t.. before I had 4c/8t and my cpu usage was in most cases 40-60%, but that was due to Windows showing me results. With 8t, game utilizes only 4t, and it's showing me for example 50% flat usage.. that means that 4t are 100% utilized and other 4t are sitting idle... and I was like "okay, hm, i have room for more, so just upgrade GPU and good to go" , but that was not the case, since 4t are fully utilized I would be getting CPU bottleneck. Correct me if I understood wrongly :)
Also I found another video, where guy was testing 1x16GB or 2x8GB, now, of course dual channel is better A LOT, but what surprised is that CPU usage on SC was 62%, and on DC it was 54% (saying random numbers but you get the idea) Here is link to that video.
Luckily my MB supports 6th and 7th gen of i3, i5, i7, so there is a room for upgrade.

Well 4c/4t is fine if your going to use up to RX vega 56 GTX 1070 or RTX 2060. A GTX 1080 or RTX 2070 is faster than the 4c processor can handle with a game that can and will use more than 4c/4t with those video cards.

Yup, I agree.. that one is the one using more than 4c/4t, I'm not saying having 4c/8t is bad, just currently don't have enough money to upgrade, and for now, since i have 60Hz monitor, I'll be playing in 60FPS mainly.. But yes, that one is interesting.. I'll definitely upgrade to i7-6700k or i7-7700k, just not atm. TBH money-wise, i literally traded FX8300 for i5-6600k (CPU, RAM, MB), so I thought, hey, big improvement, since FX series was not the best one ever, this seemed like decent "free" upgrade... And never really played games on ULTRA settings, was always on medium (due to CPU or/AND GPU bottleneck, but mainly GPU). Now i'll be able to play maybe like 90% of games on ultra :) of course after I get RX580 8GB or GTX 1060 6GB which will be in ~15 days

Yup, just typed post, either is gonna be RX580 8GB or 1060 6GB, which one would you guys recommend me? But still hypothetically if I get GTX1080, it would not stutter if i lock it to 60FPS?

At that point in time playing BF1 , I had to clock my FX 8 core down to around 2.5 ghz to match the lows in FPS the 4790k without HT @ 4.4 ghz would get in the same 64 player server.

BF1 seems to have been dumbed down since then, but early on, it was very core friendly.

If you get a GTX 1080 or better with a Intel 4c/4t games will run the speed of GTX 1070 RX vega 56 GTX smooth as butter. I had a Intel 4c/4t with a GTX 1070 and played BF1 and all my games as fast and smooth as the GTX 1070 could handle. I would purchase the GTX 1060 6GB it's a little faster than the RX580 8GB. Yeah I guess they had to make tweaks because of i3-8350k (sole gaming chip).. just a guess, no facts.

Yup, I have awesome deal for Zotac GTX1060 6GB (160 euro) or RX580 8GB (140-160 euro)... I'm fan of Nvidia, but those extra 2GB in RX are tempting. Also, yeah, I know it's a bit slower, but I looked at
, where in some cases Nvidia beats BY FAR margin, and in others RX beats by LOW margin... Also keep in mind that this video is 2 years old, since then, then optimized drivers very well

Another VERY important thing is that RX580 keeps it's memory clock at FULL SPEED, ALL TIME (dual monitor, different resolution setup) and my GTX950, lowers down the clock with exact same setup... I don't know about GTX 1060. Reason I'm saying this is, because I tested Gigabyte RX580 Aorus 4GB, and it idle'd at 50c ONLY because of memory clock was maxed. If I disabled other monitor, memory clock would fall down, and temperature would idle ~25c, BUT, with dual monitor setup, it idles at 50c, in heavy gaming, it jumps just another 10c (total of ~60c). But since then I got this MB and CPU, which has iGPU, so I belive I can setup iGPU to do my work for other monitor and keep RX580 memory clock down (and cool).

Sorry I haven't been active par few weeks.
Now that I got full setup, CPU will peak at 100%, but in most cases it sits between 50-80% usage, of course depending on what I do/play.

Thank you all for help :)

For full setup I bought :
- EVGA BQ 600W
- MSI GTX 1060 6GB Gaming X plus
- HyperX Fury 4x4GB 2666MHz CL15

GPU utilization depends on game I play.. for example, in Apex it's almost always 99%/100%, but in Warframe, it can be low as 40%...
Now, in Warframe, if I unlock my FPS, my CPU will jump to 100% and provide ~90fps (depends on area what I am, this is in open world), while GPU will be at 65-80% , that's CPU bottleneck... But I have 60Hz monitor so I don't go above 60FPS, especially for Warframe
