Hi guys i'm about to install vista x64 ultimate sp1 integrated. I use the pc for usual stuff, email, downloading music n movies (limewire, azureus bittorrent client) i might do the odd bit of video converting, cd/dvd ripping and burning (nero) and few antivirus bits AVG, spybot and adaware, I also use office 2003, Mozilla firefox and Opera for browsing. Are all these programs compatibe with 64bit vista?? Any warnings or things i shud be aware of before hand??? cheers guys!

Yeah they should all work fine. You just need to download the 64bit versions of your drivers and you will be fine.

X64 is well supported now you should be fine. A warning tho I wouldnt touch Limewire, not unless you want a PC full of spies and viruses.

it's practically the same as windows 32-bit from a usability standpoint, just another program files folder - all those programs should be fine and so should those devices

just don't be messing around with limewire - things won't be fine for very long if you start messing around just then
Limewire sucks, if you want to use the Gnutella network, get FrostWire. It's open source and spyware free.
Oh btw....does any1 know how i can save my desktop wallpaper before I format my pc?? I didnt save the pic....i just found it and right clickd and set as background

Hey I like Limewire, I have already made $80.00 USD removing viruses from 2 of my
coworkers home PC's.
