hey guys, I'm going to build my first WC loop. Its only for the cpu, Q6600. I'm ordering from Jab-tech. I'll go to a local shop and get distilled water. I thought about a T-line but I read around that it is easier to bleed with a reservoir. I have alot of 120mm high CFM fans laying around so I don't need to order a fan.

i say up that radiator to a 240GTX.. i don't think it'll do to well on a quad.

thats the only thing i would i change.

Maybe add a few more feet of tubing - everyone makes mistakes.

i would prefer 1/8 walled tubes

thanks for the replies.

I changed the tubing to 1/2" ID- 3/4" OD- 1/8" walled. Doubled to 8 feet

I also changed the radiator to Swiftech MCR-220

Now, I have one question. Is it okay to mix metals? The barb fittings I chose are from DD and it is chrome covered brass. The radiator material interior is brass plenum. Is it okay?

if at its base, its the same metal, you're ok. copper with brass is totally fine. just no aluminum.

your barbs and your rad are good to go.

Since your running a Quad maybe go with a D-Tek Fuzion v2 with the quad nozzle plate.

I would also go with the BIX240 rad. with some high CFM fans. Much better for cooling than a thin swifty rad..
