I've been getting a lot of computer crashes lately, and i've tried different memory, even got a 90 dollar psu that still didnt stop the crashes.....i updated my drivers, and now my computer crashes more often, and i had updated my audio drivers....I use onboard AC 97 Audio, and i'm usually listening to music when i start to hear an odd noise in my headphones for a few seconds, then my computer will freeze, then it will restart....

can i fix this by getting a new sound card?

thanks

to narrow it down try disabling the audio in your device manager, if so then it probably is your dirvers, download the newer ones
assuming its for the mobo in your signature it'll be the drivers in the following link.

lemme know how it went.

those are the drivers i have, and they have caused the more recent crashes

i'll try another bios update to see if that fixes things
