Hiya all, I have the following 780Ti currently in my desktop.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487001
I was playing around with overclocks, however due to reference stock cooler, I found it louder than I'd actually prefer, and also fan speed was around 85-90% which was because of curve settings I was playing around with. While the card was staying safely at 75C, the loud sound was getting to me.

I have GPU Overclock/Boosted to 1100MHz from 1046MHz
and Memory to 1825 from 1750

Would the Accelero make a difference in temperatures and possibly give some more headroom for overclock ability?

From what I've read, Nvid intends the 780Ti to run at 83C at roughly 65% fan speed, however I'd prefer cooler temperatures, wanted to confirm with those who are more experienced with coolers.

I recently bought an Accelero Twin Turbo III - after reading through the "instructions" for about 2,719 hours - I finally managed to get this monstrosity shoehorned into my case, my poor little GTX660 looks like it's being humpbacked by a beluga whale!

Granted the cooler does its job flawlessly and in a manner that is the exact opposite of noisy.

But seriously, this beast of a cooler comes with the finned back-plate and the amount of heat this baby sucks out of my card is phenomenal! It requires about 2 hours for a proper install but it is absolutely worth it. Reading that you are thinking of getting the Twin Turbo II which does not come with the back plate - I would say that the Twin Turbo III is currently about $5 more costly and you might want to seriously have a look at it as well.

According to the manufacturer page - http://www.arctic.ac/worldwide_en/products/cooling/vga.html - the Twin Turbo II does not support your 780 Ti - but the Twin Turbo III does. Check more on that before you buy it.

The best advice I could give you if you go ahead with the purchase is to READ AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY.

Ask the questions if you have any doubt.
