This cooler claims to have thermal rating of 250 watts. My card's TDP is supposedly ~220 watts. Would I still get good load temps if I were to overclock with a voltage increase? The card's stock voltage is ~1.0 and I wanted to use a profile with a voltage of 1.075? Would that push me beyond that cooler's thermal capacity? I don't want my temps to go above the upper 70's since that card has been notorious for having its VRM's explode.

The cooler should work fine and keep your card very cool. The advantage is that it will keep your card very cooler and is quiet and you can OC more of coarse.

I had one for my GTX 480 back then, and it kept it 37c idle and 58c on load so it should help a lot and its very quiet.

It comes with the VRM cooling heatsinks and G-1 Electrically Non-Conductive Thermal Glue.

But I would use thermal tape instead since it sticks more.
