The T7300 is faster. And basically any modern laptop is just fine for simple usage.

One of my friend is thinking to buy this laptop. It has SU9400 (1.4 GHz). Her main use is net, writing, pdf and picassa photo editing. She likes to open several of these programs at once...
Is this laptop good enough?
Also is SU9400 (1.4 GHz) better than T7300 (2.0 GHz) ?

That model is designed to give very good battery life. In that way it would be better than T7300. But not in pure performance.
