Hello everyone.

Someone brought me an Acer Aspire One to reinstall Windows XP on it. It already had XP on it but it was full of viruses.
I started installing XP on it, it installs without a problem but when the system tries to boot for the first time (after i installed XP) i get a BSOD.

SATA mode is set to IDE in BIOS

BSOD details

*** STOP: 0X0000007B (0XF78AA524, 0XC0000034, 0X00000000, 0X00000000)

Any ideas ?

Just checking - did you delete the original partition and create a new one for install?

And you can only bump your post 24 hours after your first post, and once every 24 hours thereafter.

Doing so more often will result in your thread being closed and / or your account being reported.
