Today on my travels, I've discovered a SHMUP that takes on a life of it's own.
For one thing, certain parts of the game were deemed rather disturbing, so the creator had to put in a "Censor" button. However, this can easily be deactivated by pressing F1.

The game, is Ad Nauseam 2 and it's a psychedelic shooter with awesome tunes.
You control a little ship and has to kill/dodge these freakish and unsettlingly happy "things" that wish to end your life. You need to pick up the little green pluses and avoid EVERYTHING ELSE.
You really do feel as if you've been teleported to some other realm while playing this game. I came quite close to licking my screen or any sort of reflective surface.

It's fast, frantic, and a must play if you want a challenge.
