Add a Quick and Easy way to see "MY Posts"

Please, I think This would really come in hand for alot of people using this forum.
I've tryed bookmarking a search of my posts and my profile/statistics/find post by myusername and the bookmarks return "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms. "
Get pretty frustrating, and its not really a good idea to subscribe to each and every thread you reply too..

So please think about this Admin.

Thanks!

Here is what I do. I set up my subscriptions with no notification. So every thread I post in is added to my subscriptions but I don't get emails or anything about them. Then I go to "Quick Links" in the top left and select "Subscribed Threads" near the bottom. This shows me all the threads I've replied to so that I can check them for new posts.
You can also search for your username in the search box. It sorts them by date so the newest ones are first.

Using the search is nice, but sometimes OCN Search couldn't find it's own arse if it had a Garmin and a mirror...
yeah searching by my name is weird sometimes though, click search the first time and it comes back no results, or no such user, click it again with the same search string and it works, lol
I know it might be askin for too much but call me lazy and i like the 1 click do it function, lol
But the bookmark up there seems to be workin for me, Thanks!
ahh if I click it and bookmark it only works for a bit So I actually had to make a bookmark and add that exact link in to make it work.

Exactly, what you get by bookmarking it AFTER you clicked it is the cached session, while clicking my link will ask for a new one every time, unless the cache is not too old (automatic)

I just bookmark my profile, and in 2 clicks either I can see all my threads or posts that way.
figures the search function is busted, wont show any post newer than 21 hours ago =/
Apparently they're working on the landing page, and since it's a CMP that is part of the forum, there is no doubt some functions will be down or slow to update until it's finished (although such work needs to be done on a separate install and database, which vBulletin allows just for this purpose).

Noticed the New Posts calls are on a 8hr timer too, and all this is to save calls to the database. For a busy site like this, it maybe necessary to get even a bigger database server (one of the main beefs I have with forum ware is it doesn't scale well. Owners will be constantly forking in money on frontends and the fattest database they can afford, until they become like Gaiaonline, which runs on like 22 servers and is but a ghost of a shell of phpBB. So customized as the forum ware was never designed for such a load).

This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
