Adding a second hard drive

Hey, I was thinking about adding a second sata hard drive to my rig since I'm running out of space. I was just wondering if it was as easy as plugging it in and using it, is it anymore complicated?

you have to format it to the ntfs file format from within your os before you are actually able to use it, but from there its very simple

Oh, so i have to go into the computer management thing and into the storage tab?
