Why only a GTX470 in the GT400 series? Does it really not support a GTX480 or a GTX570, a GTX460, etc.?
No don't ignore that list because those are best option cards, take my word from experience, you will have weird results or program glitches through the panels when not using a suggested card. Plus most of those are WORKSTATION cards. If you plan on doing a ton of editing save your money and add it somewhere else and get a workstation card that is suggested. You won't regret it

Not sure how much printers rely on GPU performance, but I do use Premiere Pro, After Effects, Encore, Flash and Photoshop Extended CS5 about 10 hours a day.Originally Posted by graphicsman;13031050
whats your usage like. if its 12 - 20 hours a day in acrobat, distiller, indesign, illustrator, photoshop and dreamweaver plus not to mention color calibration weekly with six monitors and four printers total, then dont take my word for it![thumb.gif]()
