Hey guys,

For about 2 weeks now my computer has been making alarm type beeping noises at random times. The alarm noise started out sounding like a normal alarm clock like on a digital watch and it lasted for about 2 seconds at a time. Now the alarm noise is actually speeding up and lasts for about 1 second. The noise is coming out of my speakers and not my computer itself. I've ran Malwarebytes and Spybot and they haven't found anything. I really don't know what to do... Has anyone ever heard of this type of problem before?

Have you checked the event viewer? there is software and hardware notifcations

Other than the beeping noise, any other unusual happenings of your PC?

Could it be some sort of monitoring alarm for temperature or fan speed or alike?

Perhaps stress the CPU and the GPU individually to see if you can trigger the beeping.

Check also monitoring utilities (eg Asus AI Suite, PC Probe, Q-Fan...etc).
