ive figured out alot of things on my quest to perfect my computers performance. heres the deal. when i leave my cpu clock at default speeds 2.4GHZ my video card runs at pci-eX no problem.....

when i set the FSb to like 450 which makes my ram run at 900MHZ with a multiplyer of 8 giving me a 3.6 GHZ overclock. which is good. however once ive done this my video card is only going at pci-eX1.... and i dont know why.. how could i maintain my overclock and still get my video card to run at pci-ex16 and not x1 like it has been for the past 8 months and i didnt know about it.

DO you have anything in the BIOS set to "auto" if yes the take it off and set them manually.
yes i do, but those are like northbridge and southbridge voltages and stuff, and i dont kow what they aer sopsoed to be set at
thats it!! i set the northbridge voltage to about 1.45 or sumthin and the southbridge voltage to 1.6 and now shes running at 16x. becnhamrking now
MUCH BETTER, ITS OVER DOUBLED. but is it about right for my system?

Obviously if you could keep it a lot colder it would run a lot better, heat = resistance, resistance = less performance.
