okay..so, i'm still new to overclocking

i've started overclocking my 3500 venice about a week ago?..and right now i'm up at around 2.6Ghz...and i can't seem to go higher...

right now at 2.6 my voltage is at the max the motherboard will let me..and when i go a bit higher than 2.6 and prime/orthos..i error (rounding) before hitting the 10 minute mark...

is mine just a bad overclocker or.. something to do with my motherboard?..cause i know the board isn't the best

..it's actually pretty old and bad..but anyways..have i reached my limit?...here are some cpuz screens

okay, so if i downgrade my bios to release i can up the vcore more..but i'd rather not..

is there something wrong?

i've seen other 3500 venices go further no problem with maybe 1.616 max..or something..

i know that every cpu is different..but i'm wondering if something with my setup is not satisfying the needs for a good overclock..

any help is greatly appreciated..thanks

You have already answered your own question. If it errors you need more vcore. Your motherboard will not allow more vcore. Therefore you have hit your max.

Have you checked temps? What is your stepping? Try increasing the vcore just a bit and make sure the RAM isn't limiting you (loosen timings, etc).

He said his motherboard wont allow anymore vcore.
