Aluminum homemade case

So some of you may have read my post elsewhere about making a completely homebuilt case from aluminum. A big thing in this case is recycling and reusing (mostly because I don't have enough money for lots of aluminum), for example the HDD bays are made from cut up pieces of the feet of a broken tripod.
HDD bays (not done yet, will have three drives and there will be two of these)

Gotta love random broken WD drives.

My stepdad is a machinist, i wish he didn't work overtime on a daily basis otherwise i could think of some awesome case modding stuff for him and i to do.

Good luck, sounds like a lot of work to make a whole case.
I am going to redraw my plans on paper and upload them when done.
Can I ask why do you need two of those? One of those looks like they can fit 3 hard drives easily.

Well anyways, sound like a plan. Can't wait to see what you can do

Two, for a total of six hard drives.
