Hey.

I would like to get :

II X4 620 Propus

But I have this MB :

Foxconn 740G

And I saw on the Manufacturers Website there was a BIOS update to support AM3 CPUs. But I was wondering would I see a performance increase when running games?

Also I have this PSU :

Rosewill 500W

Will it support my system? If I OC the processor to 3.2Ghz?

Strictly for gaming, you will probably see a decrease.

Also, when overclocking these you will have a locked multiplier unlike the black edition you currently have. The x2 7750 is fine for gaming; just hang onto it. If you want a cpu just for gaming, get the Phenom II x2 550/555 when it releases.

My X2 7750 BE does have a unlocked multiplier but my motherboard for some reason doesn't allow me to change it so I have to change the FSB. It's still stable at 3.2Ghz though. And wow a decrease for a 3.2Ghz Quad over a 3.2Ghz Dual... Wow..
