In the spirit of buying cheap cooling solutions. Found this thing for 60 bucks.

Hopefully it will impress me like the 20 dollar 6 heat pipe cooler from Amazon, which is still available.

Ordered one and should get here on Friday, will test with a 10980XE.

I know right lol.

This will be my first X299 setup that won't be on custom water. But what better way to test this 60 dollar AIO.

If this is anything like the 240mm version, they provide accessories like 4pin pwm male to two female extension cable, and if you dont have an second CPU_FAN pwm, they include a sata to 4pin pwm cable for the pump (or fans).

truthfully a decent AIO for the price, picked one up to temporarily figure out what was going on with another AIO of mine, keeps my hot 5800x as cool as it can for 240mm. Pump kinda noisy at 100% but I wouldn't be able to say if it's a common trait of the pumps they use.

Kinda curious to know how did this go... :D
Went well.

I was able to reach 4.5ghz all core with this cooler. Sure after 10min stress it hit 97c, but still not bad. I am going to apply liquid metal soon, liquid metal is usually good for a 7-10 degree drop over regular tim.
