It looks like I already owned this cooler in the past. Must have bought it from eBay back then, remember performing well with a Ryzen 9 3900X I believe.

CPU cooler at 20 bucks is a steal!!!!!!!! Keeps up with a 12900KF at 200 watts, I have it tweaked to have a all core boost of 4.8 on the big cores and 3.8 on the little ones (40 ring). Maxing out at 77C after a 10min loop of CB23. It gets hotter if I loop TimeSpy, at 15mins the hottest core gets to 82C. But that is due because my 6900XT air cooled is dumping a lot of heat since hot spot hits 90C.

Does have one drawback, does not come with mounting hardware for socket 1700. I had to mod the 115X/1200 bracket with a dremel to work.

i picked up one also, i was thinking of trying it on my 7940x but wasn't sure it would hold up lol. Sounds like its doing decent. I have multiple boxes i could test it with. it may end up on my 5900x

So I went down a rabbit hole because I was impressed for the price. Very well built cooler, but I also ordered this one to see how it does.

Yes I have it on hand, I haven't tried it on my 7940x because it's under water ATM. However I could try it on my 7920x?

Let me know when you get the gelid, mine seemed to get lost in transit. Might have to wait a few more days for that one.

Finally got the build back together completely. Did some quick testing and I am only using the fan that came with the cooler for now to see how it does out of the box. I am getting low 70s on one core and rest are in 60s while running CPUz stress for about 5 min. I didn't get much time but it actually seems to be working fairly well. I will do some overclocking on it also to test. Keep in mind this 7920x is not a delid so it's Intel inside pigeon poop edition to boot.

For 20$ it's looking like a steal!!

Also got the gelid in, it's huge! I will try to test it also soon. I am not sure how well the gelid will do since there is some aluminum between heat pipes.on the CPU contact plate. Definitely want to see how it does.

That's awesome news!!! I will be installing it on a 7960X. I will delid and use liquid metal. I was impressed it handled a 12900K fine. I did upgrade the fan, I had a pair (actually two pairs) of some Cooler Master fans and have them in push and pull and this allows it to run 5.0 on p cores with e cores disabled or the original speeds I posted on a earlier post and got a 3 degree drop.

As far as the gelid, I never got mine and got refunded since the original seller sold out. Got lost in transit and now it is 40 bucks by another retailer.

here are some pics of the Gelid, it feels fairly light compared to the PCcooler GI-R66, i am referring to the actual heatsink with no fans.

here are some pics, there is only a slight small strip of aluminum down the center, the heat pipes are side by side. So it will be interesting how it fairs.

You for 25 bucks it does not look bad either. Might be a good option for Ryzen since the heatpipes are in pairs of three. Three heatpipes per chiplet. Sucks I never got mine to experiment.

Thanks for the pics since I never got mine. But regardless the PCCooler is still 20 bucks and prob the best bargain out there.
