Hi all

Read several posts about OC'ing this chip but currently cant access BIOS options for overclocking (Medion PC)

I was looking into the AMD overdrive option to OC instead and as im new to this I would be looking for a step by step guide to a stable OC.

CPU-Z shows the multiplier set to 13.5 at 1.344 volts, bus speed is 199.6mhz

System Specs are

AMD 64 x2 7750 BE
MS 7501 Motherboard
4gb DDR2
OCZ 600w PSU
WD Caviar 600gb HD
Sapphire HD4870 1gb
Vista 64 home premium

Doesn't the bios have an option to change the CPU multiplier?

I'm not going to recommend software overclocking, it just ain't good.
Unfortunatly on Medion systems alot of the bios options are hidden, altho there is a method to show them they are then password protected
ok here is something that might help.

to get into hidden bios you must turn on computer then hit f11 over and over.

once the screen changes to esc to exit you must type in am8888egh thats the pass.

But here is the tricky part. Hit enter only once. (Nothing will happen) but if stars
disapear than you did something wrong and must start over.

if not quickly press and release all at the same time

(left) cntrl+alt+power button.

bingo there is your hidden bios. look at right side frequency and voltl

although i haven't had must success except to lower the ghz

let me know if you come up with anything.

hope this helps out.

Well, i never had that problem. So the only thing i can say is make sure you
hit enter only once. And when you hit control+alt+power button at same time
quickly. Hope this helps.
well i found a way by unplugging my battery for couple sec and the the process works but only once then its the same all over again lol
