Make sure the cpu fan is spinning. Might need to replace the TIM? Where are you getting the temp readings from?( what programs) Probably would be a good idea to look into a better cooler also. That thing is a power hog, and will run hot.
Can you make sure the cpu fan is spinning? The stock fans are not very good on those chips.
edit: if it is not. Unplug the power from the power supply on the back of your comp. Push the power button down for a few seconds. Then discharge any static from you and see if any wires for the cooler are loose or broke. Make sure the cooler i still seated the way it supposed to be. Also have you changed anything in the bios lately?
