First off, welcome to the forum, this place is great.
Just a few questions, because this would be the first "unlocked" bios that I've seen if its true. Is the bios unlocked in the sense that you can boot into and change things like the boot order, or in the sense that you can adjust things like these: reference clock (fsb), vcore, vdimm, ram timings, PCI-e frequency, etc?
Forgive me if I'm a little skeptical, because I've never seen an unlocked OEM board before. But make sure that you've saved your changes before you exit BIOS, and that you're not trying anything crazy (in some boards, if you change to much, to fast, it will just re-set back to stock settings).
Let us know how it goes.
Good luck
