As the title say's. I am building my son a rig around this bundle http://www.frys.com/product/7393224?site=sa:adpages%20page:p7_FRI%20date:022213 and would like to know if the AM2/3 coolers will fit? This build is only gonna be used for youtube and some very light online games he plays. I do not intend to oc it just want to put a cool looking after market cooler on it for him as he is only 6..

i am not sure about teh after market coolers if any will fit i have not seen the boards yet but once you get the board you can look at teh mounts and see if they are similar to the am2\3 boards they may fit but if you are buying all the parts online i would go local retailer for the cooler and see if they have a cool lookijn cooler for ya that way if it dosent fit you can go back and try another one that is how i would go about it .

On another point i am building my 5 year old a computer for dungeon defenders and some other games he is helpin me put it all together and he got all the old parts from my computer lol just need insurance to replace the parts that got destroyed in a flood but i was thinking of going with the same cpu so when i get the parts i will have to check it out see if the FM1 boards are similar:thumb:

The new line of amd is not too bad they are a little under powered but for a light weight gaming machine they work well as the cost to performance is really good with amd but if your an intel lover its hard to swallow. lol good luck with the build
