I don't know why they would have such problem with so much hype they put into this game.
What I find ironic is that Dirt2 comes bundled with the new ATI cards...
Nope but I think a beta is floating around.
I am just going to wait for 9.12 drivers to be released. 9.11 are terrible on my PC playing Borderlands, and they still haven't seemed to fix it yet. Heck, come to think of it, 9.10 is screwing with me in Left 4 Dead 2 as well (although it just might be the game, and not the drivers).
I wonder if this hotfix will make my 3870 work on it better. >.>

Unlikely it seems to only fix a Crossfire issue.

The 9.12 beta (9.10 variant, apparently) works great for me in Borderlands. Runs much smoother than 9.11 and fixes the missing texture problem.

No CFX for a game that is not out yet. That's new

*Edit: Not sure if my Dirt 2 is using CF or not. Will need to test when I get home...
I had to install the hotfix. Was on the 9.10's prior. Was having major issues with the menus being as laggy as hell (but all fine in game) but the Hotfix rectified this.

Not entirely sure it was just a crossfire issue though ? Surely a 4890 is powerful enough to render the menus.

Anyway, just glad AMD were on the case. Fun game !

My 4850 got like 5fps on the caravan inside. Seems it was a driver issue as these fixed it. So even if you don't have crossfire, if you get bad menu performance these will work.

Are you talking about that annoying "Driver has stopped responding..." atikmdag.sys crap?
