Hello,

Hopefully someone here can help me.

I attempted to use the firmware version of the TPM (AMD's fTPM). I activated it in bios and then I ensured it came up as active in device manager, so I initialised Bitlocker on my main OS drive. I printed the key it gave me, but now it asks me to enter the key every time I boot ( apx 20 digits long), this is getting pretty tedious now.

As far as I was aware, enabling Bitlocker with a TPM (firmware or hardware) would negate the need for me to enter the key each boot.

Could someone please assist me with this?

Many thanks in advance OCN

No its not set to auto reset, i cant find any setting that has that as an option.
Change the marked option to Disabled to make sure it does not ask for the encryption key everytime the PC restarts.
